Our regulated role
Tenant Help provides seeking out, referrals and identification of potential housing disrepair claims. Tenant Help introduces people to solicitors who assess whether they can act and explain the legal service, its terms and costs.
FCA authorisation does not mean that the FCA approves our advertising or guarantees the outcome of a claim. Tenant Help cannot hold or control client money.
Housing disrepair referrals
Tenant Help does not charge tenants for its housing disrepair referral service. We receive a referral fee from the solicitor when we introduce a case to them. The solicitor’s service has separate fees and charges. Read about costs and your choices.
You do not have to use a claims management company. You can complain to your landlord yourself for free. After following their complaints process, you may be able to use the Housing Ombudsman in England or the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales yourself for free, subject to their eligibility rules and remit.
